On average you will receive around 15-23 pieces per pound which measure around 1 inch and weigh from 20-30 grams per piece. While most bags will contain stones that are within these ranges, it is possible to get some stones that are outside of these dimensions, which can cause the number of pieces received to be more or less than the 15-23 piece average. As a product of nature, every piece is unique and no two will be the exact same color, size, shape, clarity, or have identical patterning in the stones. These stones are perfect for art, crafts, tumbling, polishing, cabbing, wire wrapping, home decor, fountains, landscaping, education, gem mining events and more... the possibilities are limited only by your imagination!VERY IMPORTANT: The stones you will receive are sent just like they came out of the ground. All pictures were taken with the stones being wet which helps to show the materials true colors and characteristics. It may not have the same appearance when dry unless it has been polished, tumbled, or cabbed. When you receive your stones they may contain a small layer of dust which could coat the stones or inside of the bag and you will want to rinse your stones when received to see their true potential. Due to the fragile nature of some stone types you may find "crumbs" in the bottom of your bag where small pieces have chipped caused by transportation and this is a normal occurance. We do our best to display an accurate color in our images, but we can see ourselves when looking at different brands of monitors that the images can look very different from one screen to the next with some being too vibrant or dull, color hues varying, and more. Due to this we can not guarantee the colors of your stones to be identical to what you see in our images on your screen.
